- One sad offscreen execution of an engineer (we hear and watch the gunmen and see part of the obscured body slouch to the ground).
- The main character is shot in the leg after jumping off of a train and runs with a limp for a portion of the film. He survives.
- The main villain is machine-gunned to death by the main character.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The subject matter of WWII, the vicious Nazis, and their use and murdering of innocent French citizens as collateral damage may be upsetting.
- The scene involving the execution of a likable conductor could also be seen as upsetting.
