Commons:De minimis; The monument consists of a concrete block chipped as if it were a piece of wall ruined by war actions. I have no idea whether it is actually a portion of a building dating back to the World War II, but even if it were of recent construction, it is still a piece of concrete, as full of symbolic meanings as you like, but a piece of concrete nonetheless. IMO it's a matter of viewpoint, those who recognise the genius of a Lucio Fontana in a cut canvas, those who remain realistic and see only a cut canvas.
