Is there a possibility to work with a private repository or to work without a repository at all?

I think I found a solution to my problem. I first export my notebook to html as I would do when it were in a public repo. Then before opening the file I edit the last part (spec: user/privaterepo/master )and change it to a public repo I created before. This seems to work so far for me
