Incident[]
In 2328, the Cardassian vessel Sontok found the remains of a 1000-year-old Klingon ship while scouting Raknal V. The Klingons and Cardassians fought a brief battle in orbit of the planet, with the Cardassians initially repulsed until they returned with reinforcements, causing the Klingons to retreat towards the Betreka Nebula, where seven Klingon vessels ambushed the nine vessels of the Cardassian Third Order. A suicide run by the IKS Kazin as its warp core breached, combined with the release of a damaged containment unit from the IKS Wo'bortas left only the Wo'bortas and the Sontok alive from their respective fleets.
