Taamar was a location in 23rd century Klingon space.

History and specifics[]

Taamar was a stopover of the ill-fated Starfleet Intelligence starship Dixie Princess, following a stop at Mastocal and preceding a voyage to Kargenth. (FASA RPG module: The Dixie Gambit)

Taamar was the site of a major Klingon shipyard, from which Captain Kasak stole the prototype warships Hakkarl and Tazhat. (TOS novel: Rules of Engagement)

The star chart in The Dixie Gambit did not clarify if Taamar was the name of a planet or star system, or both, or some other formation entirely.
