Electronic Arts has unveiled a spectacular gameplay trailer for the fifth season of online gameplay in Battlefield 2042 (available below). "New Dawn" - as it has been named - will launch on on June 7. Players can expect a new map, weapons, combat pass and more.

Battlefield 2042 - Season 5 in detail

  1. New map: Return - Slowly taken over by nature, an abandoned factory in the Czech Republic. It features points such as a bunker and a derailed train.
  2. A redesign of the Hourglass map, which has been in the game since launch.
  3. New weapons - XCE Bar rifle, GEW-46 assault rifle and BFP.50 pistol will be made available.
  4. New grenades - we will be able to use three new types: spring grenades (for fighting infantry), anti-tank grenades and flash minigrenades, which will sometimes save our skin.
  5. New gadgets, cosmetic items and experience point bonuses.

All items that affect gameplay can be obtained as part of the free battle pass of the fifth season. Some of the others will be unlocked only by players who purchase the premium pass. More information about them can be found here.
