The number of Black Myth Wukong players is growing every minute, as of now it is almost 1,8 million on Steam only (via SteamDB). All those people have a difficult task in front of them, as some bosses can be tricky. Of course, fighting opponents with friends would make the game more interesting for many fans. Is it possible though? No. Will it be possible? Maybe.

Black Myth Wukong – Future of Coop and Multiplayer Explained

Black Myth Wukong is a singleplayer game. You can’t play it in coop mode with other people. Moreover, it seems that it will stay that way, as developers have not expressed interest in adding multiplayer. It is important to remember that if the title is supposed to have a coop mode, it is decided much earlier, and the game is properly prepared for adding this feature. Without such steps, adding the possibility to play with other people in many cases is extremally difficult.

Most likely, the same case is in Black Myth Wykong. The game which is based on combat with difficult bosses have to be properly balanced, and an additional player can destroy the difficulty tailored by developers. Implementation of coop through whole story, at this point, is rather tricky and would require tremendous work.

So, we would not count on adding coop mode to Black Myth Wukong. At best, developers will introduce a summon system, in which players will be able to call a friend for a fixed period of time to help them defeating a boss.

At the end, we would like to recommend you our Black Myth Wukong guide.
