Songs of Conquest Early Access Launch Date Announced

Songs of Conquest, a strategy game inspired by Heroes of Might & Magic II, has a release date. Only in early access for now, but it's a progress.

We've had to wait a while for the new spiritual heir to the Heroes of Might & Magic series, but the day is finally approaching when we'll get a chance to check it out in action. Lavapotion has announced that Songs of Conquest will be released in Steam's Early Access in the second quarter of 2022.

Wartales Launch in Steam Early Access is a Decent Success

The game co-developed by the aforementioned Swedish developer and studio Coffee Stain was supposed to be released as early as 2020, but it was one of many titles delayed after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The developers want to be sure that - as they put it Songs of Conquest will turn out to be the game that players wanted, not one that the developers "think" the fans want. The team has already enlisted the help of some 250 testers to work on the alpha version, but - like other small studios - Lavapotion wants to put the final touches on its game together with the Steam community.

Unfortunately, the announcement did not bring any other information about the project itself. Fortunately, the curious will find reports on the development of Songs of Conquest in subsequent announcements on Steam and videos on YouTube.
