A myst-like fan-game based on the story of Myst. The game takes place in the world of Myst in a parallel story of Atrus and his family. The engine of the game is UDK (Unreal Engine 3). It will be a single-player game, faithful to the Myst serie games.

Will the game be free to play? Because of copyright I mean. :-) It would be sick though if you could acquire the Myst copyrights. (if it's really a Myst fangame that is, because I assume the Altrus thing in the description is placeholder?) The game looks sick anyway.

yes the game will be completely free !
Anyway, we asked to CyanWorlds the authorization to use the "Myst" term and the D'ni univers and content (langage, numbers...), and waiting for an answer.
This is epic. Watched the video.. I especially loved the sandstorm in the video and the dark water temple like level (or whatever it is..) it really does look faithful to Myst in my opinion. I'm too busy right now to play the demo but I look forward to the full version!
