Western European Embroidery in the Collection of… by Milton Sonday

A pamphlet with black and white photos of embroidery in the collection of the Cooper-Hewitt, with some text to put it into context. The words provide an overview of the collection and of the pieces shown in the booklet, which are stunningly beautiful. Only the cover is in color. There are photos of a gentleman's nightcap with rainbows and snails (on the cover), some lovely historical whitework, including a lady's coif.
