English: The Library of the United Nations Office at Geneva was founded in 1919 by the League of Nations. It is moved to the Palace of Nations in 1936 through a donation by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.. Its ten floors of bookshelves accommodate more than one million volumes and four million United Nations documents. It also accommodates the archives of the League of Nations and of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
