TRAAAAANSFORMERS!
When Hasbro said you
Should buy Generation 2
They played the theme song now ORCHESTRAL!
The CGI played
Got better day by day
But at the start it was a MESS-TRAL!
In nineteen ninety-four
They thought they needed more
So they set the commercials to a RAP!
They were tryin' for cool
But they came off as fools
'Cause the music just sounded like CRAP!
  • I hated the nineties!
  • I hate how you're whiney!
TRAAAAANSFORMERS!

For this year, the toy commercials utilized CGI as provided by Lamb & Company for their animation segments, which would then be reused for the cartoon as its Title sequence and Commercial bumper animations. The toy footage would be filmed in model cities and deserts that were sadly not available to buy.

1994

This year, inspired by the increase of its use in the likes of Jurassic Park and other major blockbuster films, the commercials would see the CGI animation established in last year's set being blended in with live-action environments. AFCG Inc would handle the animation for this set of commercials in lieu of Lamb & Company, sporting much glossier and more detailed robots compared to the simplistic boxy models of the 1993 ads.

For once Superion doesn't solely focus on crushing cons.
  • Aerialbots / Combaticons [19]

Narration: Victor Caroli. (Each sold separately.)
Toy Segment: The Aerialbots are shown flying over a silver road, with Air Raid even shoving Blast Off aside. Silverbolt then fires on Swindle before converting to robot mode in a jump cut sequence and briefly posing with his teammates, who he then merges with to form Superion to knock down the smaller Combaticons. Later, Onslaught leads the Combaticons (with Blast-Off notably grounded for some reason) in a counterattack, shooting a missile before converting to robot mode and knocking Air Raid off the same platform his subordinates were stationed on briefly before. He then combines with them with to form Bruticus and kicks taps Superion's shoulder, causing the Autobot gestalt to fall over. However, a later firefight saw Superion shoot Bruticus down and shatter back into his components.
Notes: Silverbolt (G1) and Superion share the same voice from Garry Chalk.
Jet formation!" "Jet transformation!" {Transformers!} The Aerialbots are taking their shot, Silverbolt's blasting the COMBATICONS!/They can all c-c-change and be rearranged, to form the super robot, SUPERION!/

Narration: Victor Caroli. (Each sold separately.)

Sample lyrics: Flying all around / On the air and on the ground / Transformer rotors are SPINNIN'! / They can change before your eyes / into rotor-shooting guys / When they get into a battle they be WINNIN'!
Holy crap, did Sizzle kill that kid?

Nowhere has a child looked more excited than this.
Animation: A live-action kid whines about a "battle tank" driving down his suburban street; it changes into Megatron. Fortunately, Prime is parked right behind the kid, and transforms to fight Megatron. "Battle THIS!" A moment later, the kid cheers for truck mode Prime, only to have another truck transform into Prime — "Uh, over here."
Narration: Victor Caroli. (Each sold separately.)
Notes: Includes Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime.
Sample lyrics: It's heavy metal crunchin' time / as Optimus Prime / goes toe-to-toe with Combat Megatron / Prime is one tough dude / underneath his hood / he's a transformin' missile firin' phenomenon!
  • Combat Heroes [22] - An edited, but still 30 seconds in length, version of the previous commercial. The CGI intro is shortened and only the narrator, Victor Caroli is heard talking. Caroli continues on with his spiel, replacing the rap. The ending CGI segment has the shot of the first Prime truck cut out, going straight to the kid turning around to see Prime transform and exclaim "Born to transform!".

Child endangerment at its finest.
  • Dreadwing and Smokescreen [23]
Animation: A kid runs down a city street, fleeing Dreadwing, who strafes the street before transforming to tank mode while Smokescreen flies overhead. On a downtown street, the kid cries for help as Dreadwing and Smokescreen transform to robot mode in front of him,Electro and Sizzle (yes, Sizzle the Decepticon) drive up and transform, fighting the pair, but in the end, they get picked up and smashed into each other by their foes.
Narration: Victor Caroli.
Toy Segment: Dreadwing flies in, ramming Jazz and (what appears to be) Leadfoot as he crashes through a plastic wall before opening fire with his Gatling gun, aiming for an unsuspecting Leadfoot and Volt from behind, with close up on his missiles running out and a hand slamming a see-saw with Drench and (seemingly, again) Leadfoot to show off its power. Dreadwing then ejects Smokescreen and converts to tank mode, showing both modes off before the 2 bots transform to robot mode, shooting down Drench and Leadfoot before pushing Superion off a table.
Notes: Dreadwing speaks twice in this commercial, unfortunately, his voice actor is unknown.
"Run it's Dreadwing!" "And Dreadwing's twice as deadly!"

New DreadWING is punishING/ His Gatling gun is illIN'!/ This Decepticon bomber's a Transformer-rama/, A three-in-one villain that's chillIN'!

Combat tank and sonic jet Transform into double-trouble robots/ Their missiles go boom/ Spelling certain doom/ As they take apart the awesome Autobots!

"Autobots! HALP!" [sic]"No one can save you... from mustache-twirling triple-changing Dreadwing!"

Transformers: Generation 2. Dreadwing is all you see here, other figures sold separately.

  • Dreadwing [24] - Edited down from the previous commercial, with the rap removed. Dreadwing speaks the line "Born to transform."

"It's Dreadwing!" The evil Dreadwing is a triple changer! Transforming from stealth bomber into a combat jet and battle tank. The jet transforms. And the tank transforms, into evil double robots!

Animation:
Narration: Victor Caroli.
Notes: This commercial is a 15-second version, typically the length of an edited version. To date, no full 30-second version has surfaced online, which is a shame, because it would probably have a rap song.
