Star Wars Transformers

Obi-Wan participated in the battle of Geonosis, using his transforming Jedi Starfighter to aid the Republic's Jedi Knights and clone troopers against the Separatist battle droids.[1]

Some time later, Obi-Wan was on a mission to find and kill General Grievous, leader of the Separatist droids. He was said to have a bad feeling about this[2], even though he had duelled Grievous several times in the past and defeated him on every occasion.[3] Kenobi was also on the hunt for Count Dooku, who had his own droid army for the Jedi to play with.[4]

Even later, Obi-Wan clashed with his former underling, the Sith warrior Darth Vader.[5]

"I'm not the droid you're looking for."
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter (2006)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
Obi-Wan's mech transforms into a gray Eta-2 "Jedi Starfighter" with magenta highlights. It features flip-up S-foils and is armed with two blue lightsabers which become spring-loaded missiles in vehicle mode. The craft comes with a tiny Obi-Wan figure to pilot it. The dorsal left side also has a non-removable astromech droid R4-P17.
This mold was retooled with new heads to make Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighters along with Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter.

Well if droids could think, there'd be none of us here, would there? ...Wait.
  • Galactic Showdown (2-pack, 2007)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
Packaged with Darth Vader TIE Advanced Fighter, this Walmart exclusive Obi-Wan is a redeco of the original toy with blue highlights rather than the original magenta.

At last, the circle is now complete.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter (2008)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
A remolded redeco of Saesee Tiin, this Obi-Wan transforms into a Delta-7 "Jedi Starfighter" complete with a hyperspace ring with lightsaber missile launchers. It features a new head, though the lightsabers are simply repainted from Saesee and the mini pilot is repackaged from the first Obi-Wan Transformer. The figure does not feature the nifty flip-down battle-mask that Saesee had.
This mold was also retooled to make Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon, Ahsoka Tano and Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighters.

Crossovers

  • Jedi Starfighter to Obi-Wan Kenobi (2008)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles
This release of Obi-Wan is a single-packed version of the blue "Galactic Showdown" toy. It does not come with an Obi-Wan minifigure, but is otherwise identical to the two-pack version.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2009)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles
Obi-Wan's second Crossovers release is a redecoed version of the very first Obi-Wan toy with the magenta highlights, new molds for his head and hands, and again missing the minifigure.

Oh, I don't think so
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2010)
    • Accessories: Lightsaber
This Obi-Wan toy is a based on the Anakin Skywalker version of the Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter mold, which had it retooled to place the astromech droid in the middle of the craft. His paint layout is similar, but different to that of his original Delta-7 version, and he has a new headsculpt based on Obi-Wan's appearance in the Clone Wars series. His hands are also newly molded to both be open (previous uses of the mold featured the left hand as a closed fist and the right in a "Force pose"). In addition, Obi-Wan does not come with the hyperspace ring included with all other uses of the mold, and thus his one lightsaber cannot be stored in vehicle mode. Unlike the other toys, it does not come with an Obi Wan figure.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2011)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers
Part of the first wave of a smaller, simpler size class (Similar to the Cyberverse Commander class) of Crossovers toys, this Obi-Wan is a new mold which, like the 2010 version, transforms into a modified Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter. He features a simplified transformation and two blue lightsabers. The two lightsabers can be stored in small brackets within the rear flaps of his vehicle mode, however the blades of the sabers stick out straight forward to look like laser fire. He features a panel on his chest (one that is similar to the ones found on class III Darth Vader/Anakin's turbine cannons) which flips up to act as a handle for class III figures to hold him in ship mode as a weapon (though it ends up just looking like he's just holding a starfighter).
This mold was retooled into Anakin Skywalker and Saesee Tiin.

Oh no, I'm not brave enough for politics
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2012)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers
A retool of the first smaller class Anakin Skywalker toy, this new Obi-Wan again transforms into an Eta-2 Actis interceptor. He comes with two lightsabers. He still features the weapon handle in his chest. The head sculpt is the same as the one used on the smaller Delta-7 Obi-Wan figure.
This mold was also retooled into Darth Vader.
