Okay... but with what?

Phil Jimenez (born July 12, 1970) is an American comic book artist and writer, well known for his work on Wonder Woman, Infinite Crisis, New X-Men, The Invisibles, and Amazing Spider-Man. Jimenez makes no secret out of his professional admiration of famous comic book artist George Pérez, whom he considers his primary influence, to the point where the two artists' art styles are nearly indistinguishable.

  • Around 2011, Jimenez, in collaboration with IDW Publishing editor-in-chef Chris Ryall, pitched a comic book crossover between the Transformers and DC Comics' Justice League. Sadly, the pitch never came to fruition.[1][2] The reason for the crossover not happening was that at the time, DC was focusing on releasing the New 52 in 2011 and compounded with the complicated nature of crossovers between different properties and companies, there was no chance of it ever happening.[3][4]
