BAM! POW! SORRY, WHAT WAS THAT?

Warpath is brash and boastful, always keen to show off his prowess with his giant cannon. Not only is it violently powerful, but it's extremely accurate, even over a range of a mile and a half. It gives him the confidence to charge headlong into battle against the Decepticons. Unfortunately said cannon has also made him slightly deaf, so speak up, would ya?

Voice actor: Jamieson Price (English), Marc Alfos (French), Miguel Ángel Montero (Spain-Spanish), Krzysztof Bochenek (Polish)

Warpath was among the many Autobots who defended the Decagon during the Decepticon invasion of Iacon and helped clear a path for the future Optimus Prime and his team. After Optimus became Prime following the death of Sentinel Zeta Prime, Warpath joined Optimus and Ironhide on a mission to Cybertron's infected core. After successfully cleansing the core and defeating a corrupted Spaceslug, it turned out that their journey was pointless; the core had to deactivate itself in order for the planet to survive, which would take millions of years. As Warpath and Ironhide displayed worried glances after Optimus proclaimed that the Autobots must leave Cybertron in order for them to survive, they bore witness as Optimus received the Matrix of Leadership from the core.

He later helped evacuate Cybertron during the big shutdown, surviving Trypticon's rampage. Transformers: War for Cybertron (360/PS3/PC)

Transformers: War for Cybertron (DS)

Warpath was indulging in some target practice on a shooting range in an Autobot base when Air Raid gave a rookie Autobot some basic shooting training.

Warpath is an unlockable character for the Nintendo DS version of War for Cybertron and can replace any of the other characters on the Autobot team. Warpath can be unlocked by obtaining a data disk in "Destroying Trypticon Station". An air character is required.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Voice actor: Jamieson Price

Six days before the launch of the Ark, Warpath got word that Perceptor and some other Autobot techheads were trapped in Autobot City's nerve center. He and Optimus took some troopers to fight off the Decepticons attacking the center. Despite heavy resistance, they cleared the area and Optimus sent Warpath back to organize the Ark's defenses. Unfortunately, the Decepticons launched a massive assault on the Autobot launch pad and it was only when Optimus got the neutron gun and Metroplex online that the Decepticons were eventually repelled. Fall of Cybertron

It is unknown whether he boarded the Ark on its take off or stayed behind with the Autobot resistance.

Warpath also appears as a playable character in the Escalation Map, 'Ignition'. He fights alongside Optimus Prime, Ratchet, and Bumblebee. He is able to deploy Battle Sentries, which fire at enemies.

Notes

TFUniverse warpath concept.jpg
  • In "Gathering Troops" on the Autobot DS game, and "The Plot forms" on the Decepticon DS game, he is seen using a solid ranged weapon in the combat range, but once you play as him, he uses a plasma ranged weapon.
  • In the Xbox 360/PS3/PC version of the War for Cybertron, during Chapter VIII: 'To the Core', he actually says, "I'll show you what a Defender can do!" Coincidentally, "Defender" is also the name of the chassis representing the form of Warpath in the multiplayer.
  • Warpath was planned for the Transformers Universe online game before it was canceled. Character designer Theo Stylianides would post his concept art of Warpath online (at right).
