Initially, I was taken in by the descriptions of Parisienne life but the detecting part of this detective mystery was just absurd. Too many coincidences, logic jumps, unbelievable events etc to maintain my interest. The writing was poor when it branched out from describing in minute details what the characters were wearing or eating.
Disappointing, wanted so much to like this.
