Loading... The Pigeon Loves Things That Go! (edition 2005)by Mo Willems, Mo Willems (Illustrator)I liked this book for a few reasons. First the point of view is interesting because it is like the pigeon is talking to the reader. The pigeon tells the reader about the different thoughts he has about each transportation that moves. The other this is the plot is funny and engaging because it brings back references to the pigeon wanting to drive the bus. Also at the end a hotdog shows up and makes the pigeon upset and it is funny. The book was made for the readers to read a fun book while learning about the different types of transportation. Although Pigeon is always charming, this board book reads more like an advertisement for Willems' other books than a story in itself. It simply has the words airplane, bus, train, and hot dog next to pigeon who is making a comment in a conversation bubble. It simply does not compare to Williems' other works. |
