Bodycam, a new Steam hit, was released a few minutes ago. However, first players have already been able to launch the game. Sadly, some of them report low FPS and poor performance. It seems that the new realistically looking shooter is causing some problems.

Bad Performance in Bodycam, Lags and Stutters Explained

Fans of shooters are in a good position right now, at least on PC – some interesting titles were released in last few months. We can name here for example Gray Zone Warfare, XDefiant or Selaco. Now, we may count to this group a new addition Bodycam. The title was released a few minutes ago on Steam. However, not all players can enjoy it.

Some fans report problems with hardware theoretically suitable for playing. As a remainder, the game requires:

  1. Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K,
  2. Memory: 8 GB RAM,
  3. Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8 GB), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8 GB),
  4. Internet,
  5. 50 GB available space,
  6. SSD Recommended.

To be fair, we should say that most people who fulfill requirements can play without serious problems. However, as you can see above, even when we speak about minimal components, the game is quite demanding, and can cause problems for players. So, double check if your PC meets requirements and does not have any bottlenecks. If everything is in proper order, you may want to check out your graphics settings and adjust it a little bit. For now, there is nothing more to do than wait for developers’ solution or some brilliant players’s workarounds.

Remember that the game just entered early access, so it is expected that not everything will be ideal. Especially taking into consideration that Bodycam is created by a small team.
